DSC_0998.jpeg

Adapted by F. Andrew Leslie, from the novel by Shirley Jackson

A chilling and mystifying study in mounting terror in which a small group of psychically receptive people are brought together in Hill House, a brooding, mid-Victorian mansion known as a place of evil and ill will. Led by the learned Dr. Montague, who is conducting research into supernatural phenomena, the visitors have come to probe the secrets of the old house and draw forth the mysterious powers which it is alleged to possess. The Haunting of Hill House explores how fragile psyches can break under the pressure of a house that wants no one to leave.

 One Exit

Written by Julia Henning and Daniel Manning

This truly unique show blends elements from Sartre’s No Exit and Dante’s Inferno to create an atmosphere that simulates a type of dread that is slowly bubbling over the surface of its container. People have been telling me to go to Hell for years, and if I knew it was going to be this enjoyable, I would have done it much sooner.

It's 28 Days Later meets No Exit, when a group of subway riders face something far worse than a simple delay on the Blue Line. It all leads to flaring tempers and rising paranoia as their phones reveal a city falling apart above them.

“The Dark Ages: Otho the Great” is an exquisite adaptation of John Keats’ retitled play. Though never performed in Keats’ lifetime, Julia Farrell Diefenbach’s crafted direction and her cast’s authentic performances do him justice.” - Danielle Levsky, New City Chicago
